Chinese cabbage
Chinese cabbage – is one-year cross-pollination plant. It has a high nutritional value, and in protein and amino acid composition it stays ahead of other cabbage plants. It contains carbohydrates, pectin and nitrogenous substances (0,5-1,6%), cellulose (0,8-2,5%) and 6,1-8,6% of dry substance. Especially it has a lot of vitamins in its compound: A (carotene) - 0,6-2,5 mg per 100 g, B1 - 0.06, -0.03 B2, PP - 0.35 vitamin C. This cabbage accumulates twice more than lettuce leaf (80 mg per 100 g). The leaf revealed a significant amount of crude protein. According to the content of white cabbage its surpass almost doubled. This type of cabbage rich in mineral salts of calcium, potassium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and trace elements (aluminum, vanadium, copper, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, strontium, titanium, chromium, zirconium). There is folic acid found in cabbage, which is necessary to strengthen the immune system. It also stimulates the formation of red blood cells and white blood cell count.
