Spring barley
Spring Barley is being grown in Ukraine as food, feed and technical crop. However, by volumes of its using in national household it is initially one of the most valuable grain-feed crops, the share of which in the balance of concentrate feed is significant. Barley is an important food crop. The grains of vitreous coarse double raw barley are used to prepare barley cereals which consists 9-11% of protein and 82-85% of starch.
In case of insufficient content of microelements in the soil, it brought in by preparing of seeds or during vegetation spraying crops. On the sod-podzolic and gray forest soils microelements are brought in with the content of: boron – not less than 0,3mg, copper -1,5mg, manganese - 30mg, zinc - less than 0,7mg per 1 kg of soil. Introduction of trace elements in eroded soils is mandatory. Boron is effective on limestone soils with a neutral reaction, molybdenum - acidic (pH less than 5,2), copper - by peat, zinc - on soils with a high content of mobile phosphorus. Seed treatment of 1 ton of grain is consumed in number of 100 grams of boron, copper 300g, 180g of manganese, zinc 120g in terms of dry matter. Microelements are also brought in during vegetation simultaneously with fungicides or insecticides.

Consumption rate of working solution is 200-300 l/ha.
It is advisable to combine feeding with the introduction of crop protection and urea (if necessary).
If necessary, it is recommended to use «ROSTOK» Zinc and «ROSTOK» Manganese.
