Beans

Beans – is a plant belongs to the legume family, which is grown in all of soil-climatic areas of Ukraine. Vegetable beans’ unripe beans and unripe seeds are used in food. Unripe beans contain up to 6% protein, 3,4% sugars, vitamins A, B1, B2, C and mineral salts. Beans is a valuable food product. Nutritional value of bean seeds (standing) is determined by significant protein content (22-26%), which composition is similar to meat protein (contains almost all essential amino acids) and absorbed by the human body at 75-90%. The value is determined by protein complex high content (in % of dry matter): lysine (7,9-8,1%), histidine (2,6-9,1%), cystine (0,6-1,6%) tyrosine (2,2%), tryptophan (0,9-2,2%), phenylalanine (3,3%), leucine (9,7%). Due to the specificity of fractional structure (water soluble - 62-95% salt-soluble - 2-25% meadow-soluble - 1-13%) bean protein is well absorbed by the human body. Content of fat in seeds is 2%, 52.0% carbohydrate, vitamins (C, B1, B2, B6, PP, E), minerals (potassium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, copper). Beans have a high energy value, so 100 grams of grain contains 309 kcal (1293 kJ), which is 2 times more than the beef and 7 times more than - meat fish. In the food green beans is also used (as asparagus varieties of beans), which contain up to 15.7% protein, 2% sugar, rich in dry matter and vitamin C. In global agriculture (area of 20 million hectares), among legumes, beans ranks second place after soybeans and is high demanded. Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine – is traditional place for growing beans, especially its pleasant south part, but most of crop is grown in private sector on small areas., that isn’t satisfied the demand for this product. Therefore, the issue of increasing the acreage, improving existing technologies and the development of promising new technologies with the use of microelements (as removal of their culture and its high demand for them) are relevant. For formation of 1hundredweight of grain and appropriate amount of straw, the demand for beans is, kg/ha: 3,5-5,5 nitrogen, 1,2-1,7 phosphorus, potassium 2,5-3,5, 1,7-3,0 calcium, 0,5-1,3 magnesium and other microelements. The best soils for beans are light-textured soils with a neutral reaction of soil solution (pH 6,5-7,5). Beans have a good reaction for using fertilizers. Bean root system is placed in the upper layer of soil, which is equipped with nitrogen through rhizobia life. Because the nitrogen is carried out only in starting and maintenance doses and other nutrients should be put additionally to the root or in the form of foliar-feeding.

The content of nutrients in fertilizers «UAROSTOK»® and doses of entering are designed according to the needs of plants in the components during a period of growth and development.

The use of fertilizers «UAROSTOK»® promotes:

  • improving the vitality of seeds;
  • stimulating plant growth and development;
  • strengthening root system and enhancing nitrogen fixation from atmosphere by rhizobia;
  • increasing the vegetative mass;
  • increasing of resistance to diseases and pests (weevil tubercular 40%);
  • laying reproductive organs with more flowers and beans;
  • increasing of beans quality (protein, vitamins and crop quality);
  • increasing the harvesting of crop by 10-15%.
