Cucumber - one of the most common and favorite vegetable crops, fruits of which we consume in a sour green, and throughout the year in fresh (greenhouse cucumbers), low-salted, pickled and salted form. Cucumber contains a large amount of sodium, chlorine, fiber and other nutrients. Cucumber - one-year heat-loving cross-pollination plant with separated-estrous flowers, belongs to the family Cucurbitaceous.

The plants of cucumber are taken in number of 1 ton from 1 ha basic and appropriate number of by-products, kg: calcium - 30 magnesium - 13; g: iron - 94, manganese - 9.6, boron - 1.5, zinc - 3.3, copper - 1.7, molybdenum - 0.1. Cucumber plants are especially sensitive to the availability of calcium and manganese to it, medium - magnesium and copper, low-sensitive to - boron, zinc and molybdenum. Unbalanced nitrogen nutrition and growing cucumbers in soils with poor consistence of micronutrients (molybdenum, iron, copper, manganese, boron, sulfur) commits to increasing the nitrate content in products.
