Morphological structure
Stems - straight 30-80 cm tall. Leaves - raw or cooked like spinach. Inflorescence- compact terminal racemes elongating in fruit to +40cm. Flowers on pedicels to 3mm long, pedicels elongating in fruit to 6mm long. Root – vertical root.
Germination - in march - may. Flowering period - in may–june. Fruiting - in june-august.
Seeds
Fruit they are many seeded, erect to spreading, 2-3cm long, slightly compressed, and beaked. Size - length 1,25-1,75, width 0,75-1, thickness 0,5-0,75 mm. Weight 1000 seed - 0,5-0,75 g.
Biological features
The depth of germination is 2 cm. The viability of the seeds in the soil - up to 4 years. Maximum productivity - 10 thousand seeds.
Wide spreading
Widespreaded throughout Ukraine. It is polluted mainly by crops of perennial crops, occurs in gardens.
